I was driving through Pittsburgh around noon this weekend and was able to get a shot while waiting for the light to turn green.

Fresh snow and a freshly shoveled sidewalk.

Today the kids decided to write letters to Santa, and since it was snowing out we decided to get all geared up and walk to Santa's special mailbox to deliver the letters.  After the walk we stayed in the back yard and played in the snow until it was time for some hot chocolate.

I was going through some of my photographs that I haven't edited yet and this one caught my eye.  I really like the colors of the heavy equipment and how it is a nice contrast to the white sky and snow.

It was a perfect day to go outside with the kids and play in the snow.  There is a little hill by our house that Jonah enjoyed twenty or so times.  Harper shared a ride down the hill with Sue and was DONE!  She cried the whole way down and instead opted for playing in the snow at the bottom.  After playing in the snow for about an hour she sat down and stated she was ready to get in the car.
